Carpenter carves out a top time in London Marathon

The star performance from the nine Chichester Runners taking part in last Sunday's London Marathon came from Angela Carpenter.

She set a club record of 3hr 5min 31sec to finish 1,622nd overall.

Not only did this run beat the time of all her male club-mates, it put her in the top 100 women overall and a magnificent 20th in her over-40 veterans’ category.
