CHALLEN IS NAMED AS NEW CAPTAIN

BENN CHALLEN has taken over from Stuart Stoneham as Littlehampton Cricket Club's captain.

Challen, who was vice-captain to Stoneham last season, was Littlehampton's player of the year as they were relegated from the Sussex League Premier Division.

He scored 426 league runs at an average of 30.43, with a top score of 106 not out. He also took 37 league wickets bowling at 17.3 with a best of 6-21.
