CHAPLIN BLASTS "APPALLING" EP PERFORMANCE

EAST PRESTON boss Mark Chaplin was furious with his players for their first-half performance against fellow strugglers Redhill on Saturday.

Redhill, bottom with just four points until they defeated Littlehampton last Saturday, leapt over EP in the table with their second successive win.

Chaplin was livid with his side's display and said: " We were appalling. The first half was unacceptable and the players knew that at half-time.

"It was one of them games where everyone seemed to be five yards off the pace. Too many players had an off day and we couldn't get ourselves riled up to get it together."
