Chichester all set for premier netball

Chichester Netball Club have just finished another great season in the Portsmouth League, finishing second in division one and gaining promotion to the premier league.

The club are expanding for the summer season, introducing another team who will be entering the Portsmouth League in division four.

They will be captained by Claire Cawte and made up of a mixture of adults from the area as well as students from Lavant House School and Chichester Junior Netball Club.

The aim of the club has always to been to bring the juniors of Chichester up to senior level and they hope to increase the number of teams over the next couple of seasons.

They train Wednesday nights at Lavant House School from 6.30pm to 8pm and welcome newcomers. The club have also been lucky enough to gain two new sponsors.

The Inglenook in Aldwick has provided new tracksuits, available to buy from Game Set & Match of Chichester, and Barfoots have provided new playing kit.

They are very grateful to both sponsors for their generosity.
