Chichester squash ace Berkley's bronze delights college

Chichester College student Peter Berkley won bronze at the Association of Colleges national squash championships.'¨The second-year sports science student won a place on the podium at the end of a competitive three days in Newcastle.'¨He won five of his seven matches and was the only player to beat eventual winner Jared London.'¨Nathan Warren, sports lecturer at Chichester College, said: 'Peter put in a fantastic performance in Newcastle over the three days.'¨'His all-round ability was clear to see in his five wins '“ and the other two matches were extremely close.'¨'The commitment shown by Peter was not only evident on the court but also by his willingness to travel across the country and to commit his weekend to this three-day event.'¨'It is a superb achievement and Peter is a great credit to our sports department and to Chichester College.''¨Berkley had qualified to represent the region at this national squash competition after his third-place finish at the AOC south-east regional tournament.
