Club's runners coast to success in Gosport and Brighton

Two of the most popular autumn road races on the south coast brought success for Chichester athletes.

In the Gosport Half Marathon James Baker, a former winner of the event, was a fine third out of 1,400 runners in 70min 14sec.

Showing his usual excellent powers of recovery, the 34-year-old achieved this just a week after setting a new course record in winning the Bexhill half marathon in 73.01, knocking 37 seconds from the previous mark.
