CLYMPING CRASH IN SEMI

THE CLYMPING roadshow came to a grinding halt on Tuesday evening, when their arch-rivals sent them crashing out of the Sussex Junior Cup at a damp Crabtree Park.

Their fairy tale and drama-ridden run came to an end in an entertaining game, that belied the junior status of both teams who, quite frankly, put on a display that was better than a number of senior games I have endured this season.

Having enjoyed the better of the first of the first 15 minutes, during which Aaron Morriss and Alan Barrett went close to opening the scoring.

Clymping never recovered, however, from a stunning strike by Paul Barnes for Hospital in the 32nd minute and, from that point, the Chichester side didn't look like they would give anything away.
