Clymping knocked off top

CLYMPING Cricket Club have been knocked off the top of the Division 3 table for the first time in eight weeks by Bognor Regis.

After picking up just four points in their 42-run defeat at Scaynes Hill, Clymping were overtaken by Bognor who got 20 points in their victory over Barns Green. Third-placed Horsham Trinity could also overtake Clymping if they secure all 30 points in their game in hand.

After winning the toss, Clymping put Scaynes Hill in to bat on a damp wicket and proceeded to drop eight catches as their opponents scored 240-4 from 47 overs.
