Clymping Marvellous

WHEN FRANK Sumner took charge of Clymping at the start of this season for his third spell as manager, he could never of dreamed of what lay in store.

Having avoided relegation on goal difference at the end of last season, Clymping would probably have settled for a cosy mid-table position and a gentle little cup run.

Well, they most certainly did not, for on Tuesday they lock horns with Chichester Hospitals in the semi-final of the largest and most important junior cup competition in Sussex.

Both sides play in the West Sussex League Division 2 South. Clymping top the table with three games to go, two against the Hospitals side who lurk in fourth place.
