Controversial draw for Sidley

SIDLEY United secured 1-1 draw against East Preston at Gullivers on Saturday in an Sussex League match which ended in controversy.

In the last minute, the referee awarded a penalty to the visitors but then amazingly changed his mind and gave a free kick on the edge of the area.

The result leaves The Blues stranded in 11th place in Division One, a massive 18 points behind leaders Burgess Hill.
