The Thespian Thunderers are a team of players from the world of showbusiness – described as the world’s premier actors’ cricket team.

Steve Power, from Wave 105’s breakfast show, has agreed to present the cup.

The Thunderers team contains actors and directors involved in a dozen West End shows, including The Woman In Black, Pygmalion, The 39 Steps, Yes Prime Minister and Buckley.

It promises to be another great family day out and everyone is welcome. Attractions include a hog roast, bouncy castles, a display of owls,

a craft stall, teas and coffees, a picnic area and a bar.

In the cricket club pavilion is the Sir Patrick Moore exhibition, which will be open to visitors. The display recreates Sir Patrick’s study at his Selsey home, Farthings, with original items on show.
