Littlehampton’s skipper said: “It was a good win for us, with all forms of the game going well for us.

“We bowled superbly up front, with Heberlein taking five wickets and Budd finishing with four. That was the best he has bowled all season and he deserved to end with the figures that he did.

“With the bat, it was fairly comfortable. We did lose six wickets but we needed just five runs at that stage.

“It was comfortable and it was never in doubt once we got to 120.

“This win really showed that if we can get all parts of our cricket coming together what sort of a threat we can be in this division.

“Full credit must go to the bowlers as well, they have worked hard in recent weeks and they were rewarded for that on Saturday.”

Jack Williams (21) and Ryan James (20) put on 42 for the first wicket as Felbridge made a steady start.

Once James fell, though, it became a struggle and Felbridge lost nine wickets for 47 runs.
