Bob Warren appointed Sussex Vice-Chairman

Bob Warren was appointed vice-chairman of Sussex County Cricket Club when the officers were elected for 2015.

Warren is Chairman of the Sussex Premier League and is the owner of the Worthing based sports travel company Travel Places.

Jon Filby, the previous Vice Chairman, resigned from the Board in order to take up the role of Sussex Cricket Integration Project Manager for a nine month period.

This is a very important role assisting the Chief Executive in planning the integration and developing the strategy of the proposed new entity Sussex Cricket Ltd which is on track for implementation on 1 November 2015.

The Board has appointed Ed Putnam to fill the casual Board vacancy caused by Filby’s resignation.

Jim May and Ed Putnam were re-elected as Chairman and Hon Treasurer respectively for a further period.
