Champions Rustington finish with home draw
CHAMPIONS Rustington Cricket Club finished their West Sussex Invitation League Division 6 campaign with a draw at home to Three Bridges 4th on Saturday.
Rustington had already sealed the title heading into the game and scored 238-5 off their 49 overs after winning the toss. Alan Hylands hit 82, Richard Hobbs struck 51 not out, Stuart Stone scored 24 and Bhavash Prabhaker fired an unbeaten 22.
Three Bridges then reached 145-8 in their 45 overs, which meant Rustington took 18 points and Bridges six.
