Cuckfield work their way backto winning ways at Saint Hill

It was a mixed Cuckfield side that travelled to East Grinstead and got back to winning ways by defeating a team widely tipped to be pushing for the title this year.

New opening pair Greg Wisdom and the experienced Chris Mole had mixed fortunes of their own, Mole departing early but Wisdom showing great maturity under heavy pressure to see off the new ball with a patient 16.

A run-a-ball 34 from Jason Oates helped boost the total and there was an excellent effort from the returning James Thorpe as he held the tail together with 25.
