Goring after 40 overs had only 110-5 on the board but recovered well and batted sensibly to eventually post 192-6 from their allotted 53 overs. Both teams pretty happy with the outcome.

In reply Heath lost Edward Long in the first over but the ever reliable Chris Blunt and shot maker Jonny Phelps put heath in a great positon to win the game reaching 60-1 off of 16 overs.

As in previous weeks though a flurry of middle order wickets followed against some good middle over bowling and suddenly Heath were in some trouble. Heath were not able to recover and lost the last wicket with three overs to go sparking big celebrations from the Goring lads.

Heath now lay fifth in the table having been top at the halfway stage.

A lot of cricket left to be played but a return to form is needed to get the promotion chances back on track.
