Ben Williams’ side won their 14th game from 16 league matches at the weekend by brushing aside local rivals Wisborough Green to all but guarantee the title and another crack at Division 2 next season.

The side need the equivalent of around 140 runs and two wickets from Saturday’s trip to Bognor and skipper Williams - who took five wickets against Wisborough - said: “It’s my first year as captain and I can’t believe how well it’s gone.
