Nomads notch their fourth titlesuccess in the past six years

Preston Nomads have clinched the Premier League title for the fourth time in six years and Saturday’s results mean they have done it with two games still to play.

Their five-wicket win at home to Hastings left the visitors to scrap it out for runners up spot with East Grinstead, who won a low scoring game at Three Bridges.

The two relegated clubs will come from Worthing, Chichester or Brighton, although Bridges and Roffey are still not mathematically safe.
