Oakmeeds U15 Girls cricket team come third in County Final
Oakmeeds U15 Girls Cricket Team did fantastically well to reach the County Finals on Wednesday 19th March following 2 wins out of 3 games in their Semi-Final at Moira House on Thursday 13th March.
In the Semi Final Oakmeeds played Brighton College, Moira House School and Ratton School, winning two out of the three games to qualify for the Final in second place.
The Final took place on 19th March and Oakmeeds came third. This was a superb achievement for our first year of girls’ cricket. Even more so considering that half the Oakmeeds team was made up of girls playing up two years and that all of our U15’s are Year 9 or below.
