A very competitive game; Newick won the toss and elected to field. Mayfield amassed a score of 239 for the loss of 7 wickets before declaring in the 46th over.

Top scorer A Cornford with 69no; Mat Sawyer took 3 Mayfield wickets for 59 runs. In reply Newick had to work hard for their runs and scored 126 for the loss of 9 wickets.

Joe Waylett top scored for Newick with 28 runs; J Allen took 4 Newick wickets for 26 runs from 11 overs,
