Sussex CCC in local derby

Sussex will look to continue their good opening form in Division One of the LV=County Championship tomorrow (Wednesday April 24) as they travel to The Kia Oval to take on rivals Surrey (11am start).

Having beaten Yorkshire at Headingley in their opening fixture by an innings and 12 runs, Sussex made the perfect start to the new campaign and will be aiming to continue their run against a Surrey side which drew with Somerset in their first match of the season last week.

Sussex can welcome back England wicketkeeper-batsman Matt Prior to their squad following his heroics during the recent New Zealand tour. They can also include former Surrey recruits Rory Hamilton-Brown and Chris Jordan, who made a scintillating start to his Sussex career with eight wickets at Headingley.
