Players can turn up on the day, but that will be on a first-come first-served basis. The cost is £15.

Mike Broad, chairman of Bognor’s colts section, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming Sussex Cricket in the Community to our ground.

“It will be a fantastic, fun event. Sussex have invested significantly in this holiday roadshow, and we at Bognor CC are so pleased to play our part in making cricket fun for all.”

Bognor CC chairman Simon Crundwell said: “We are a club with strong community links so it seemed such a perfect fit when the chance came to host.

“We are very pleased to be the first club in Sussex to host such an event. I look forward to welcoming visitors from around the area, not just from Bognor.”
