Sussex League cricket fixtures are revealed

MIDDLETON CC’s first XI will begin life in the Sussex Premier League at Cuckfield.

The publication of the Sussex League’s fixtures for 2015 have given the men from Sea Lane a trip across the county on the first day of the league season, Saturday, May 9.

Their first Premier home game will see them host East Grinstead a week later.

Pagham were promoted from division three at the end of last season and their opening division-two fixture takes them to St James Montefiore.

Chichester were relegated into division three and will open away to Haywards Heath.

In the same division, Bognor head to Goring.

Stirlands suffered the drop into division four at the end of the 2014 campaign and they begin a new season with a home game against Wisborough Green.

The first and second XIs’ Gray Nicholls T20 Cup contests start the season on Saturday, May 2.
