Sussex sign James Tredwell on loan

The 32 year-old, who has taken over 350 first-class wickets, will play for Sussex in the Championship on a month’s loan, which can be extended after review, with his parent county of Kent having the right to recall him at any time should they need to do so. He will also continue to play one-day cricket for Kent.
Tredwell, who has played over 50 times for England across all three formats of the game, was a key part of his country’s recent ODI and T20 series with Sri Lanka.

“I’ve played with a lot of the guys over the years and played age group cricket with the likes of Matt Prior and Carl Hopkinson so it’s an honour to join up with them again.
“I’m really looking forward to getting some red ball cricket under my belt.”
