The presence of so many Sussex players involved is testament to the county’s commitment to women’s and girl’s cricket and the success they have enjoyed in recent seasons through from the youngest age groups right through to the senior side, who are experiencing another impressive campaign having reached both the finals of the County Championship and Twenty20 Competitions.

The ODI series begins on Tuesday next week at Lord’s before the matches at Hove. There are then three Twenty20 games to follow at The Ford County Ground, Chelmsford, the Ageas Bowl and the Emirates Durham ICG.

The matches at Hove follow on the back of the success of the West Indies Tour last season, when England Women played against the tourists at both Hove and Arundel Castle in Twenty20 matches.

Both games next week at The BrightonandHoveJobs.com County Ground begin at 10.45am and entrance to all Sussex CCC members is Free. Adult tickets are £5 each per day and juniors are also free of charge (with an advance ticket).
