VIDEO: Scaynes Hill work tirelessly to get game on against Three Bridges

Scaynes Hill 1st XI worked their socks off to get their West Sussex Invitation League Division 1 game on with Three Bridges, and it paid off as they won by six wickets.

The game started at 3.52pm and Scaynes Hill won the toss and instered Bridges.

Bridges found themselves 40-6 and then 69-8 before Mark Dunford and skipper Chris Brightwell came together. The pair helped get the total up to 139-9 which Dunford top scoring with 39 (three fours and two sixes) and Brightwell finishing on 16 not out. Fraser Webb hit 22. Wayne Emerson (3-29) and Andrew Parsons (3-38) were the pick of the Hill bowlers.

In reply, Scaynes Hill reached the total in 19 overs. George Parker (42), Chris Markham (34*) and Nick Wright (34) saw Hill home despite 4-19 from Robb Legg.
