In division one, 15 pairs turned up and the first round saw a 180 from Derrick Longhurst (Squash Club) but he and Stuart Gray (POW) lost to Gary Blackwood and Mark Walker (Hunston Club).
Blackwood and Walker lost to Lee Franklin and Gary Miller (Squash Club) in the first semi-final.

Hide AdThe second semi saw Andy Kilvington and Richard Pennells (POW) lose to Dave Owens and two-time champion Dave Mitchell (Squash Club).
In the final, Owens took out 16 with his last dart to take the first leg.
In the second leg, with 70 left, Mitchell hit treble ten with his first dart and double top with his last to take the win for him and Owens.
Division two had 18 pairs playing, the second-best turnout on record.

Hide AdIn a preliminary match last year’s champions Nick Hales and James Bartley (The Monters) were dumped out.
The first semi-final saw Karen Winter and Karen Wilson (Newtown Raiders) defeat Alex Richardson and Adam Hall (Friary Arms).
The second brought a defeat for Connor Durham and Pete Mitchell (Newtown Raiders) against father and son team Roger and Ian Hackett.
The division-two final was a Newtown Raiders shootout and Ian Hackett hit the double eight to clinch the first leg.

Hide AdThe second leg swung one way then the other but with 60 left, Ian Hackett, the league chairman, hit single five, single 15, and double top to take the leg and the division-two title for him and Roger.
