The former Premier League star from Essex will be appearing in the Chichester area for the first time when he puts his talents on show at Sidlesham Football Club.

Mardle is regarded as the most charismatic player in the world of professional darts – loved by fans, tournament promoters and the TV cameras. He is a larger-than-life character, full of energy and always willing to engage with the fans.

Event organiser Ben Marley of HG Media & Events said: “I am very excited to have Wayne coming to one of my exhibitions. He’s a top booking and we know he won’t disappoint the 170-plus crowd.

“When organising a darts exhibition booking a top entertainer is key to draw a big crowd and I am very pleased with the response from the local community for this event.

“We try to create a TV-style event atmosphere but in a smaller venue. My MC Chris Skinner is a great asset to the night providing charisma on the mic and he knows how to get the most out of the players and professionals.”

Mardle will be playing 14 games on the night, will anyone be able to beat him?

On the night there will also be a world record attempt for the most inner and outer bulls in one minute, the current record is 11. The application for the official record is being considered but eight lucky people will attempt it, so it could be an unofficial record.

Tickets are almost sold out but there are a few still available – if anyone is interested, contact Ben Marley on 07539 209525.
