The St Leonards potter has just come to the end of the best season of his career, having reached the semi-finals of three full-ranking events, including the prestigious UK Championship, as well as winning the Six Reds World Championship.

Davis recently stunned four-time champion John Higgins 10-6 in the first round of the BetFair World Snooker Championship, before going down 13-10 to sixth-ranked Stuart Bingham in the last 16.
