DISABLED RIDERS SHINE IN DRESSAGE

TWO riders from the Arundel Group of Riding for Disabled competed in the South East Region dressage competition at Hickstead last month.

Jenny Feltham from Climping and Bob Ide from Rustington came first and fourth in their class. As a class winner, Jenny qualifies to go forward to the National Championships to be held at Hartpury College near Gloucester this coming weekend.

Alison Leggett from the Arundel Farm Riding and Driving Centre , where the group rides every Tuesday during term time, has agreed to allow Jenny's mount, Shamus, to take part in the championships.

The funding to cover entry fees, travel , stabling and accomodation has been donated by Ladbrokes plc, who organised a race night earlier in the year.
