Discus star Lally focused on qualifying
Local discus star Jade Lally is competing for Team England in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow on Thursday night.
She is due to throw at 8.40pm with the final on Friday at 7.30pm. Jade said: “Training has been going well and I’m looking forward to competing.
“I don’t want to think about the final yet. I’ve got a job to do in qualifying first.
“The weather has been bizarre and I’m sure will play a part in the competition.”
