Duo's academy caters for flat work and jumping

Rachael Scott of Storrington and Sally Foskett of Horsham founded Equestrian Academy a year ago, holding regular training sessions at Brinsbury Campus, Pulborough, and Buncton Manor Farm, Washington.

The duo, who have more than 35 years of experience between them, have designed a range of equestrian teaching courses aimed at the everyday horse- owner and are passionate about making riding a fun and positive experience.

Rachael said: "There was a huge gap in the market because most centres offer either flatwork or jumping. But we see the two going hand-in-hand, and we have the skills to teach both."
