Early bird entry offer for half marathon in Bexhill

To mark the 10th staging of the popular annual event on Bexhill seafront, organisers are offering special discounts for runners wishing to secure their place early.

A 40% discount is on offer for the package of: race entry, beanie hat, commemorative t-shirt and sports bag, while a 25% discount is being offered on race entry.

Race director Lee Holdaway said: “Come and join us in what is promising to be another great event and our 10th anniversary celebrations as well.”

As well as the half marathon, there will also be 10k and 5k races, as well as children’s runs. All the races will start and finish at the De La Warr Pavilion.

The 2016 Poppy Half Marathon again defied the elements as more than 820 runners completed the half marathon, 10k and 5k races on a wet and windy Saturday last month.
