EAST PRESTON PROMO PUSH IS ON

SIMON Clayton's third goal in consecutive matches helped to move East Preston up to fourth place thus enhancing their chances of an immediate return to Division One.

Although they are 14 points behind third-placed Eastbourne Town, they have seven games in hand so a quick return to Division One still looks a strong possibility.

Wealden rarely troubled EP throughout the match. Their only efforts were speculative long range shots from Andy Payne and Sid Harman, both high and wide, and meant it was an easy day for Brett Simmonds in goal and a first clean sheet for 11 matches.
