Fight fans set for a bumper night

The award-winning Pantheon Fight Series returns to Sussex Coast College Hastings tomorrow (Saturday).

Pantheon 9 - Apocalypse will feature three main events in the form of a pro British K1 title, an amateur British K1 title and a cadet English K1 title.

Six fighters from the St Leonards-based Fighting Tigers Gym will be competing, including Elliott Hallworth, who takes his first fight as an adult in bare shin Muay Thai.

Sam Squires will contest his first bout for over a year, Ben Mitchell returns to K1 action after taking an MMA bout in Wales earlier this year, Dave Verlander is in white collar boxing action and Ali Waller will make his debut for the club.

The joint main event will see Hastings’ most decorated full contact fighter Jamie McGuigan take on the undefeated Rory Evans, from Wales, for the IKF amateur British K1 welterweight title.

Doors will open at 5pm and the show will start at 6pm. Tickets will be available on the door or by calling 07739 390911.
