FINDON TASTE A DEFEAT
IT WILL BE Barcombe. Findon will go to a ground just outside Lewes for their first match in the npower National Village Cup county stages this Sunday '” in the wake of a shock home defeat to promoted Billingshurst in the league.
Barcombe put out Crowhurst Park on Sunday and now receive a Findon side, national semi-finalists the past two years, who have this season so far enjoyed a bye then a surprise walkover from Capel.
Findon name the very team humbled by Division 2 runners-up Billinghurst on Saturday by 48 runs. The league champions did not lose a league match last season and will be meeting Barcombe the afternoon after opener Graham Waller's stag party.
