FOOTBALL: Leisure Leagues round-up (February 5)

BOUNDSTONE OLD BOYS held on for an exciting victory in the Worthing Sunday Leisure Leagues Premier Division, as Nathan Webster starred in their 5-3 win against Average Joes.

The Best edged through 4-3 in their thriller with FC Rangers, while Ronaldinho WH had Ben Aldons to thank for their 4-1 success over Lancing.

Michael Cooper was in fine form for Athletico Goring in Division 1 as they thrashed The Ducks 9-0, and FMT United were 4-2 victors over Goring, as Chris Turnbull took the plaudits.

Andy Well claimed the star man gong for Division 2 side Sweet & Sour in their 3-0 victory over Morford.

In the Thursday League, Olde House Wanderers are desperate to shake off their mid-table obscurity tag and they cruised past Jiminez United, 4-0.

Worthing & Heene Central Albion are top on goal difference following their 2-0 victory over Bennett Griffin, and there were 2-1 wins for both The Rookies and LC Elite, over MJ Dons and Profit Makers respectively.

CS sneaked through 1-0 against The Shorter The Better, and Athletico Goring shared a hard-fought 2-2 draw with AEK Fenhurst.
