FOOTBALL: Rebels' Akehurst out for the season
WORTHING Football Club midfielder Karl Akehurst will miss the rest of the season after breaking an ankle at work yesterday (December 6).
The news left Rebels boss Simon Colbran devastated and he said: "I'm absolutely gutted. I received a phone call at 10.30pm on Sunday and it still feels like a dream.
"Karl needs a plate put in his ankle and won't walk for four months so is out for the season. I'm just gobsmacked.
