FOOTBALL: Short takes over at Wick
VIC SHORT has taken over as manager at Wick following a season as assistant to chairman and boss Carl Stabler.
Stabler has stepped down to continue to build the club up off the pitch, and Short cannot wait to get back into action again. He has previously managed Rustington, East Preston and Arundel and said: "I've got my passion back and have the same buzz I had when I started at Rustington and then East Preston.
"I'm really looking forward to it. I was a bit disillusioned after I left Arundel but I can't wait for the season to start now."
