Ace Harry released by Orient

Harry Beautyman, who had an impressive loan spell at Hastings United, has been released by Leyton Orient.

The accomplished midfielder - one of four players let go by the League One outfit this week - came through the youth ranks at Brisbane Road but didn’t make a first team appearance.

Ben Davisson, another midfielder who had a spell on loan at United during the recently concluded season, has been retained until the end of 2011 by parent club Charlton Athletic.

Hildenborough-based Davisson, who joined the Addicks aged 11, suffered a fractured back and glandular fever during his early years in the youth ranks before sustaining a double fracture to his tibia and fibula in 2009.

A third United loanee, Lewis Perkins, has not had his contract with Charlton extended into next term. The Hornchurch-based striker, 19, topped the club’s youth team goalscoring charts in 2009-10.
