Hide AdThat meant Heath took over in top spot, going two points clear of the Robins, for whom a Harry Furnell had not been enough to claim any reward from their game.
On Tuesday night it got better for Heath with a 3-0 win at Midhurst with goals from Byron Napper, Liam Benson and Faris Khallouqi.
Second-placed Hassocks have daylight over third-placed Petersfield, who are five points behind James Westlake’s team.

Hide AdHassocks may see this weekend as a chance to make up some ground on Heath. They host Newhaven at the Beacon, while Rouane’s side travel to face Petersfield, the team closest to the pair in the table.
In addition to their battle for league supremacy, Hassocks and Heath are both still in the FA Vase, with second round games coming up this month at Tunbridge Wells and Egham respectively.
