The SCFL premier division team have appointed Graeme Mintrim and Steve Ives as their new joint first team managers.

The club tweeted that the apointments followed an exhaustive search and they were delighted to welcome the duo to their new roles.

The Uckers added: “They bring a wealth of experience from previous roles and look forward to getting started.”

Also joining the management team at the club is a new assistant manager, highly-rated coach Dom Crowhurst.

He has been successful in bringing through young talent at Eastbourne Town and the club said they believed he would be a popular addition, fitting in with Mintrim and Ives’ footballing philosophies.

AFC Uckfield had an excellent 2019-20 season and were eighth with games in hand on all the teams above them when football halted last month.
