The Glovers currently sit in 23rd, joint on points with bottom of the table Barnsley, and have failed to win a single league game since the opening day of the season.

Both sides reinforced their squads this week with loan deals; Leroy Lita joining the Seagulls until the new year from Swansea and Wigan’s Fraser Fyvie being drafted into the Yeovil side for the same period of time.

Despite the break, Albion are still without a number of key players. Leonardo Ulloa, Craig Mackail-Smith and Liam Bridcutt are all still sidelined, as is Spanish playmaker Andrea Orlandi.

Ashley Barnes is likely to continue his stint as Albion’s lone striker, while Lita’s involvement will depend on international clearance.

Alan Tate, Liam Fontaine and Marek Stech are all unavailable to Gary Johnson, but Luke Ayling could return for the home side.

Form

Albion have won just three of their opening 11 Championship games this term and are without a victory in three outings.

Saturday’s hosts have claimed all three points on just one occasion since their promotion - an unlikely 1-0 away win at Millwall - and have collected just five points. The Somerset side have also lost all five of their home games.

Ones to watch

Andrew Crofts (Albion)

The Wales international has already claimed three goals in his 10 appearances and has had 25 shots at goal.

Paddy Madden (Yeovil)

Yeovil’s golden boy is Irish forward Paddy Madden, who claimed the League One golden boot last season with 23 goals. He is yet to score in his seven league appearances this season, however.

Statistic

Albion have failed to score in their last three away games in the Championship.
