The Ardingly squad are hoping to be the first school in history to win the “double double” - the Elgin Southern League and the Boodles ISFA Cup, two years running.

In the Final at MK Dons they will be facing Bradfield - a team they have already beaten in the Elgin League Cup semi-final this season.

With eleven players from the winning team of 2015, Ardingly College have high hopes of renewed ISFA success this year.

Head of Ardingly boys football Nick Tester said: “We are looking good. Last week we won the Elgin Southern Cup against Bede’s 4-1. Let’s now bring on the ISFA National trophy!

“Our elite Football Academy programme means that our boys are on top form physically, with a mental approach to the game that is second to none.

“With 400 pupils and staff coming out to support them too, they are in great shape.”
