Bexhill will face AFC Uckfield Town in Macron Store Sussex County Football League Division Two, while Common will take on Hailsham Town in round three of the Peter Bentley Challenge Cup.

Common will be eager to atone for their 5-2 loss at home to Rustington in the league on Saturday, which was described as possibly their worst performance of the season.

Despite that result meaning they’ve lost three of their last four games in all competitions, a Common side lying fourth in Division Two will consider tonight’s game against Hailsham - who are second-bottom of Division One - as winnable.

Kick-off at The Recreation Ground is 7.15pm and the winners will be at home to Crawley Down Gatwick or Wick & Barnham United in the quarter-finals.

Bexhill will be in action for the fifth Tuesday night in succession and will be keen to improve on a run of one point from their last three league outings.

Eighth-placed Bexhill are two places behind their opponents, albeit only on goal difference, and a win tonight would move them into the top four.

The sides have already met once this season, in the pouring rain on the August Bank Holiday Monday, and failed to produced a goal. Kick-off at The Polegrove is 7.45pm.
