The Pirates’ visit from Sidlesham in Macron Store Southern Combination Football League Division One is off due to a waterlogged pitch following this morning’s rain.

It means that Bexhill are yet to kick a ball in November because their fixture away to Mile Oak last weekend was also called-off, just as they were ready to set off in fact.

As things stand, the other two matches involving the area’s senior clubs are still going ahead. Hastings United are at home to Merthyr Town in FA Trophy second round qualifying and Little Common are on their way to Selsey in Southern Combination Division One.

Westfield’s home fixture against Rustington in Southern Combination Division Two is also on at the moment. That match and Little Common’s will kick-off at 2pm, and the Hastings game will start at 3pm.
