Bexhill would have been pleased that the Sussex RUR Charity Cup third round match was scheduled for a Saturday after three midweek trips to West Sussex this season and will hope it is rearranged for another weekend.
Sidley United’s visit from Sussex County Football League leaders East Preston, Rye United’s game at home to Chichester City and Hastings United’s Ryman League Premier Division clash at Lowestoft Town were called-off earlier this morning. Hastings’ reserve team match at home to Carshalton Athletic has also been postponed.
That just leaves us waiting for the outcome of an 11.30am pitch inspection for Little Common’s fixture at home to Sussex County League Division Two title hopefuls Littlehampton Town.
