Bognor discover next FA Cup opponents

Bognor will host Oxford City in the next round of the FA Cup.

The National League South side - currently second in their division - will provide the opposition in the third qualifying round, which is just two rounds from the first round proper.

It follows a dramatic 2-1 win over National League North side Lowestoft in Saturday’s second qualifying round, when goals by Dan Beck and Ollie Pearce in the final 14 minutes earned the place in the next round.

Bognor beat fellow Ryman premier side Merstham in the first qualifying round.

Another home draw means by October 17, they will have played at home on eight Saturdays out of nine.
