Both clubs near full strength

Both Hastings United and Harrogate Town expect to be at near full strength for the FA Cup second round tie at Wetherby Road today (Saturday).

The U’s welcomed back leading scorer Bradley Goldberg from injury on Tuesday night and the striker looked sharp, netting twice in a 4-1 win over Pagham.

Player-boss Sean Ray and Jono Richardson also had run outs after recovering from knocks, and they should be joined in the squad by Danny Ellis - the only absentee from the midweek Sussex Senior Cup tie.

The only player definitely out is Tom Vickers who completes a suspension for his straight red card against Enfield Town.

The midfielder would have been available if the league game at Lowestoft Town had not been postponed last weekend.

“I’m completely gutted for him,” said Ray who is still furious at the three-match ban. “It’s also not nice for us because it deprives us of another good option.”

Harrogate hope to name the same side that shocked Torquay United in the last round with Chib Chilaka leading the line.

Central defender Shane Killock could return after picking up a knock and full back Dwayne Samuels is available after suspension.

Kick-off is 1pm and follow @SimonNewstead on Twitter for match updates.
