Bournemouth vs Brighton: Hughton rings changes for all Premier League FA Cup clash

Chris Hughton has made eight changes as Brighton & Hove Albion begin their FA Cup campaign at fellow Premier League side Bournemouth this afternoon (Saturday).

Shane Duffy, Dale Stephens and Jurgen Locadia all retain their place in the side which drew 2-2 at West Ham on Wednesday.

Debutant Jason Steele has replaced David Button in goal, whilst Bruno has come in for Bernardo, who misses out with a hamstring injury, Gaetan Bong in for Martín Montoya and Leon Balogun has replaced Lewis Dunk in defence.

Also to start, are Beram Kayal, Yves Bissouma, Florin Andone and Anthony Knockaert.

Glenn Murray, Davy Propper and Solly March drop to the bench, whilst Pascal Groß has been rested from the squad.

Brighton, who reached the quarter-finals last season, are also without Matt Ryan and Alireza Jahanbakhsh, who are on international duty at the Asian Cup, whilst Jose Izquierdo is out with a knee injury.

The Cherries came out on top with a 2-0 victory the last time the sides met, just two weeks ago in the league, but Brighton are unbeaten in the three games since then.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth. who are without a win since beating Brighton in the league, start with Nathaniel Clyne in defence despite the full-back only signing on loan from Liverpool yesterday.

Fellow new signing Dominic Solanke didn't recover in time for a minor injury to make the squad, but Eddie Howe has given a first start to 19-year-old Kyle Taylor.
